Upgraded to openSUSE 12.3 and KDE 4.10. Tried the experimental "color correction" in Kwin, wonder what it does in detail? First impression is ugly flat colors in Firefox, but pretty accurate results in Chrome. Seems like Kwin interferes with the color management built into Firefox. Digikam also behaves weird when the display color management is enabled.

Have you tried to set gfx.color_management.mode = 0 in the about:config tab in firefox?
If I disable color management entirely, the browser will not take care of color profiles at all, which means anything that is not sRGB is not displayed correctly. Not an option, I'm afraid.
